Teaching Methodology - Over all
Teaching methodologies vary across educational levels. In kindergarten, play-based learning and hands-on activities foster development. We use Montessori way of teaching which helps the students develop their beginning levels of communication and interactive skills.
Primary education often involves a mix of interactive lessons, group work, and project-based learning to engage young minds. We use Macmillan books as a part of our curriculum which gives scope for all the above mentioned criteria’s.
In secondary school, a more structured approach with lectures, discussions, and practical applications becomes prevalent. We again are into Macmillan books till grade VIII which seems to be a knowledge hub and with topics which are relevant for the age group.
Higher secondary education often focuses on critical thinking, research skills, and subject specialization to prepare students for further studies or careers. We in our school follow “Equity Syllabus “ in higher secondary which proves to be equal to more or less CBSE curriculums.
Introduction of Smart board classrooms in school provided dynamic and interactive teaching environments. It benefitted in improving visual representation of concepts, increased student engagement, access to multimedia resources, interactive learning activities, and efficient use of digital content. Smart boards also facilitate real-time feedback, making lessons more dynamic and tailored to individual student needs.
